James F. Standish, Jr.
has over 30 years experience in the health care industry dating back
to 1966 when he served as Manager of Hospital Data Processing and
Consulting Services for Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania. In 1973,
Mr. Standish joined Medicon, Inc., a Philadelphia area firm providing
professional consulting services to acute care and specialty
hospitals. He served as Principal and officer with Medicon until 1982
when he became chief operating officer of Third Age, Inc.
Mr.
Standish received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
Administration from the University of Toledo, Ohio. He is a former
member of the Board of Directors of White Horse Village, a CCRC
located in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, the Board of Directors of the
Philadelphia Presbytery Homes, a multi-facility seniors housing and
health care provider located in Villanova, Pennsylvania and the
Board of Directors of the Masonic Home of Pennsylvania, a CCRC located
in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania. He currently serves as a member of
the Committee on Masonic Homes of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, a
multi-facility provider with CCRCs located in four geographic regions
of Pennsylvania. Over the years, Mr. Standish has directed numerous
client assignments involving short and long range strategic planning,
program development, financial feasibility and marketing studies. |
